The Special Olympics Iowa Southwest Bowling Competition will take place on Tuesday, October 4th at Thunderbowl in Council Bluffs, Iowa (1900 Madison Ave, Council Bluffs, IA 51503). The Special Olympics Iowa State Bowling Competition- Waterloo will take place on Saturday, November 19th at Maple Lanes in Waterloo, Iowa (2608 University Avenue, Waterloo, IA 50701). Special Olympics Iowas southwest region serves athletes in Pottawattamie, Mills, Harrison, Fremont and Shelby counties, and they believe bowling is a great sport to promote both physical activity and social interaction for athletes of all abilities.
