She is also survived by brother Harold, sisters Bonnie and Linda, and many nieces and nephews. She also loved to ocean fish. She was born on August 21, 1951, in Concordia, Kansas, the daughter of Rex Eugene Swihart, Sr. and Betty B. Boling. Richard worked for Hughes Aircraft in Culver City and later in Carlsbad until 1978, when he left to run his own business, San Diego Floor Covering Supplies, in San Marcos.
