How Can You Spot A Hoax?

Patriots have come across photos of tickets inviting people to attend Donald J. Trump’s 2nd Inauguration on the Capitol steps on Aug. 15, 2021. For $1,200 per ticket, and in addition, Ted Nugent and Kid Rock are said to be the featured musical Guest Stars. The trouble is, these tickets are fake and no such event is scheduled.

How does one spot enough evidence to call out a hoax? Even if one is not familiar with what event tickets should look like, or how much a concert ticket should cost, there are obvious ways to find the truth.

In this photo, the font is slightly misaligned on the first ticket near the bottom, giving the impression it was photoshopped. Also, the first ticket says the event will be “in front of the Capitol steps.” Why doesn’t the bottom ticket say the same thing?

If this ticket was legitimate, the tour schedules of both of these musicians would reflect the ticket date, but it does not. The 2021 tour schedule for Ted Nugent on August 15 states he’ll be in New York, not on the Capitol steps in Washington D.C. Kid Rock has a gig in Michigan on that day.

Fake news and hoaxes appear to intentionally distract the public from seeing the truth. Do not be deceived.

Most American’s regardless of partylines, want to know the truth. Most Americans are good people who simply want to provide a good life for themselves and for their loved ones. Most Americans want to unify, but unfortunately there is a group of people who lie, sow dissension and/or create hoaxes in order to cause division. This photo is one of them.

Discernment, research and critical thinking are essential elements if we are to find the truth, recognize the latest hoax, and ultimately unify our country.
