Massive GTMO Misinformation being Pushed by Various Grifters to an Unsuspecting Public ~ How to Discern Truth

Information from influencers, can cause a spark, that may ignite a massive wildfire of viral news, which may never be extinguished after release. Information is power. It can be used to build, destroy or mend a society.

There can be a serious problem with [mis]information, which can simply come from the misinformed, or from those who purposely plant bad weeds of [dis]information within a good crop of news. [Mis/Dis] information can be spread, within all types of news.

Today, we will discuss one area of news a few influencers have chosen as a route for spreading  disinformation. The niche subject of “GTMO”. Purposefully.

GTMO is an abbreviated word used to describe the Guantanamo Bay detention camp and is a United States military prison within Guantanamo Bay Naval Base, also referred to as Gitmo (/ˈɡɪtmoʊ/), on the coast of Guantánamo Bay in Cuba. The camp was established by U.S. President George W. Bush’s administration in 2002 during the War on Terror following the September 11, 2001 attacks and is managed by the U.S. Navy.

GTMO misinformation is raging out of control because of multiple reasons. I have enlisted the assistance of the Office of Military Commissions for fact-checking purposes.

How can you spot a GTMO Grifter, in the midst of good Social Media Influencers? It’s complicated because of being well camouflaged. They do not stand out as blatantly, black or white. Grifters are mixed in with accurate news influencers, but a grifter can also provide pieces of accurate information, mixed in with blatant, purposeful inaccuracies. The key word here is “purposeful”.

Below, you will see an official statement from the Office of Military Commissions directly disputing a declaration from Derek Johnson, (a Social Media Influencer & Country Singer), who had broadcast a declaration of receiving approval for reporting on the Commissions in GTMO for the month of August, 2023. His choice for August was to cover  the “Hadi” Proceedings. He has never stated what the trial was about, but was hopeful to discover “secret” sensationalized information.

As an aside, the Hadi trial information, history and all other scheduled Commissions at GTMO is readily available for public access. It may be found on the Office of Commissions website HERE.

Later, Derek Johnson suddenly stated the Hadi Commissions in August had been canceled, and he wouldn’t be attending. This simply was not true, but nobody questioned anything. One week, of the two week Hadi proceedings were canceled, but not all of it. He still could have covered the first week in GTMO if officially accepted or if not, could still cover all three proceedings that month in Ft. Meade via CCTV along with the rest of the public.

A hypnotized mass of followers was created who trusted him without question. There is a vulnerable, desperate hunger for truthful information, which tends to create a starving population in search of crumbs.

MSM has also widely shown themselves to be biased, and in favor of left leaning information. Therefore, conservatives generally trust other conservatives… which unfortunately can be infiltrated by those who wish to do harm.

So what’s a herd to do? They follow a Shepherd who gives an illusion they can be trusted and will appease them with peaceful or exciting bedtime stories in a world gone insane.

The truth is, Derek had applied for multiple different trials, ultimately in the hopes of getting on the island to see what could be discovered.  Someone should have mentioned that wandering around a high security military prison, is generally frowned upon.  In fact he would have been under guard the entire time to keep him in his lane.

Johnson was declined not once, but three separate times. He was officially notified the third time on June 1, 2023. He chose to post sensationalized stories of purchased plane tickets and incorrect information of where and how he would be staying on base for months on end, while covering the commissions.  Plus, quoting a blizzard of erroneous laws with varying degrees of accuracy.

But, for some reason, the rules of GTMO and it’s regulations seem to have escaped his notice, not to mention that trial information was readily available to him as public access.

Every approved journalist for GTMO must be accompanied by a guard at all times, may not venture out of bounds, snap pictures at will, or write a report without everything being heavily vetted before release. And certainly NOT until after transcripts are approved and released.

The approval process itself is complicated. Not only do you go through an extensive security check, but you must have an APPROVED sponsor, and most importantly, years of published content.

This is also true of journalists who choose to conduct reports from Ft. Meade in Maryland from a special room where the commissions are live streamed via CCTV with a 40 second delay for security purposes. (exactly what is seen when when reporting in GTMO).

In Ft. Meade, uniquely, there is an additional room added for the public to view the Commissions at will, since January of 2019, and as put into place by President Trump.

Trump wanted the general public to have access.  In my opinion, I now personally know why.  I think Trump knew what the transparency would reveal.  But unfortunately, very few have taken advantage of it. That’s where we are going to change things, but I digress.

In the meantime and at almost the same time this special room in Ft. Meade was revealed on 2019, a sudden onslaught of influencers came up with sensationalized stories of false GTMO hearings, generally touting certain Politicians, Hollywood Celebrities and others being tried and or put to death in there. The public ate the misinformation up, and believed what was told as they had no way to fact check. Therefore, most believed the misinformation to be true.

One of the main perpetrators in 2018 – 2019 was David Zublick, who broadcast he was approved to cover the GTMO trials. It was David Zublick who started the GTMO sensationalism by blatantly creating gross falsehoods,  and the seeds of these ideas continue to flourish to this day. C-VINE outed him with the assistance of the OMC, which has no problem verifying who is, or isn’t an approved GTMO reporter.

In the meantime, new sensationalist grifters with wildly entertaining stories, continue to pop up like daisy’s after the previous fertilization of hyperspew. Suddenly.

In mid 2020, the “fact-checking” or News Rating Agencies (NewsGuard) came on the scene to censor the news on what would be considered factual in their eyes. Their job was to organize and compartmentalize information into various factions, and also give, or take away news credibility.  Ultimately a fact was only considered true according to NewsGuard if it coincided with alphabet agency narratives as the end deciding factor without dispute. Eg: AMA, CDC, NIST, WHO, etc. The ratings given, were then widely disbursed to places such as Big Tech who can manipulate search engines results, sent to social media who can ban information on thir platform or greatly suppress it. Banks, vendors, payment gateways, etc. A type of social credit score was created where you either became a public pariah or celebrity. The basic premise was to say to News Agencies, “play by our rules and say only what we allow, or you will be destroyed”.

The Media Mafia was born.

Freedom of Speech gone. First Amendment strangled. Those allowed to thrive and disburse information, had a specific purpose to be revealed later.

Recently it was discovered that the Pentagon was funding NewsGuard, and Matt Taibbi released information through the Twitter files, that the CIA was physically sitting in the House of Twitter, directing news traffic.

The playbook appears to be an all encompassing and well thought out group of strategies for various contingencies.

Similarly, the attacks on 9/11 came from multiple directions in tandem. And… continues to this day in various forms of Irregular Warfare. The arsenal is explosive in far more ways than physical.

The main weapon in the Irregular Warfare arsenal, is psyops. A manipulation of thought patterns, utilizing anything causing fear, relief, pleasure, pain, vulnerability, safety, entertainment, false spiritual appeasement, or what ever causes you to move in a predetermined direction.

The sheep are herded any which way the Shepherd chooses, encouraging free will by giving the illusion of choice. The sheep are groomed and trained utilizing similar methods that caused Pavlov’s dogs to salivate at the sound of a bell. Reward and punishment are powerful motivators.

Irregular warfare for information disbursement, was a set up for a perfect storm of controlled narrative that couldn’t be questioned. (Such as the NIST report on the collapse of Building 7).

Not even the Defense Team of KSM et al 9/11 Commissions was granted access to Building 7 Rubble samples for a Forensic Analysis study. They were told by the government, “You have all you need with the reports provided from NIST”.

Professor Leroy Hulsey (emeritus) had finished a 4 year forensic analysis with a team of Architects and Engineers at the University of Alaska/Fairbanks and discovered findings of damning evidence for controlled demolition of building 7, but wasn’t allowed rubble samples for analysis either. The difference in this case is, 3,700 licensed Architects and Engineers conducted a peer review and signed a petition agreeing with Professor Hulsey’s findings. Most importantly, they did NOT agree with the NIST report.

NIST has not responded to the many inquiries presented by AE911TRUTH.ORG and are being sued to comply. The lawsuit will probably take years.

The will of the people and scientific research, appears to be irrelevant to some alphabet agencies.

Why is all this important? Because information has been tightly controlled from every single direction and avenue. Including individuals providing sensationalized and entertaining stories on Social Medial.  Most are allowed sudden huge followings.  Other Citizen Journalists were censored, discredited, defunded, shadow banned or fact-checked into oblivion that questioned the status quo or exercised free speech that wasn’t the correct, accepted alphabet agency narrative.

Real Raw News came out of nowhere suddenly and offered entertaining stories about GTMO that was professionally presented and reported. Many times, a report came under the guise of leaked courtroom activity from classified sessions, but anyone who understood how the Commissions worked, instantly knew it was false.  Unfortunately most of the public was not aware.

If a Military Commission is in CLOSED/CLASSIFIED session, no one is allowed in, except for the Judge, Prosecution and Defense teams. During closed/classified sessions of the military commissions, the accused also are not present.  Certainly never journalists!

Transcripts from closed sessions are not made available publicly, because they are from classified hearings.  But, all Open Session transcripts are available for public access.

The only reason this report is being published, is because of an on-going saga of disinformation being declared, mixed in with factual to help give the illusion of credibility, to an unsuspecting public.

Misinformation types of declarations about GTMO, have become wide-spread throughout the influencer groups meant to build up a following, or create business.  But more than anything else, it is significantly causing mass confusion where nobody knows what to believe.

Main Stream Media has their own spin on what is, or is not allowed to be released, but generally all seem to be a fascinating echo chamber of conjoined agreement using similar verbiage or spin.

We have to start somewhere to unravel this unholy mess of mass disinformation. And it will be easier to clean up by cleaning out those who PURPOSELY misdirect information, unravel the good, or drown out silent happenings that should be closely observed. I highly suspect some of these individuals are actually part of something larger who is directing traffic in this psyops war.

Be aware good reporters are mixed in with the bad, just like there are good honest workers in alphabet agencies. Be careful not to throw the proverbial baby out, with the bathwater.

If our First Amendment is allowed to be exercised, the public must start using their own critical thinking.

Below is an official statement from the OMC about clarification of what is going on with Derek Johnson and his personal statements he had distributed as blatant disinformation. He has been refused three times by the OMC to cover the Commissions. What you will see here is the third refusal.

In the meantime for someone who confesses to know military law, Derek has demonstrated otherwise. Some facts are true, but are colored with much that isn’t.

Many follow and are hungry for truth, but aren’t receiving it in all circumstances. Generally enough fact is given to assist with credibilty.

I do know from my many conversations with the OMC over the years, that they are very aware of grifters and quite frankly tired of it. The massive disinformation from many sources is tearing our country apart. To make it worse, these disinformation statements have gone viral.

It is typical to wrongfully hear that someone in politics or Hollywood celebrities, should be sent to GTMO.

GTMO is NOT a “be all – end all” dumping ground for American Citizens with criminal or treasonous actions. There are very clear OMC Regulations explaining what is allowed there. It is a matter of jurisdiction.

American Citizens CANNOT be sent, held, detained, tried… let alone executed at GTMO. (Such as stories put out by Real Raw News as an aside), which is a self confessed satire site, but most people don’t know this because of the small print statement on their About Us page on their website. (Which was rated by NewGuard and misinformation allowed).

Yes, Americans Citizens have been tried for treason, or terrorist activities etc. since our country began… just not in GTMO. As it stands now, they are tried in Federal Court such as Timothy McVeigh (Oklahoma Bomber), Maxwell, Epstein, and many others.

It’s time We the People took back control of our news.

We the People were historically in control of our country, penned the U.S. Constitution and given the right to freedom of speech that is not weaponized against us.

On Friday, I emailed Derek informing him that his request to attend the August Hadi military commissions at Naval Station Guantanamo Bay, Cuba, had been denied. I encouraged Derek to research the military commissions website and view the proceedings from the public watch site at Fort Meade, Maryland, prior to applying for admittance again.

The Department of Defense expends valuable resources and manpower in order for the media to report military commissions activities from the Navy base in Cuba. Media requests are commonly rejected for multiple reasons. Only accredited journalists, from bona fide media organizations with established, legitimate motives for reporting, are approved for travel to Guantanamo Bay, Cuba.

The OMC (Office of Military Commissions) has very specific regulations against American Citizens being detained in GTMO. The following statement was sent to me from the Office of Military Commissions (Ron Flesvig), as the Rule of Law on who can be detained, tried, and or prosecuted there.

The specifics of jurisdiction (who can be tried at Guantanamo) below, from MMC 219 Edition:

From Rule 202 – (a) In general. Any alien unprivileged enemy belligerent is subject to trial by military
commission under chapter 47A of title 10, United States Code.

DEFINITION UNDER Rule 103 (a) (1): “Alien” means an individual who is not a citizen of the United States.

DEFINITION UNDER Rule 103 (a)  (29) “Unprivileged Enemy Belligerent” means an individual (other than a privileged belligerent) who—
(A) has engaged in hostilities against the United States or its coalition partners;
(B) has purposefully and materially supported hostilities against the United States or its coalition partners; or
(C) was a part of al Qaeda at the time of the alleged offense under chapter 47A of title 10, United States Code.
